Maitland Dog Obedience Club provides training for all levels, beginners to advanced, and happens every Sunday morning. The exceptions being the weekend in July when we hold our Obedience Trials and mid December to resume last week of January.

Training is conducted by volunteer Dogs NSW accredited instructors and internally trained instructors who are very experienced and compete regularly in dog sport.

Training is for any dog of any breed from 16 weeks of age.

A current Vaccination certificate must be sited on joining.

No children or non members allowed on the training field as they are not covered by insurance. Children must be 12 or over to participate in training.

Good solid footwear must be worn. No thongs or sandals.

General Meetings held after first session, 3rd Sunday of every second Month.


Information For New Members


Beginners start training first Sunday of each month February to November.

The club offers an eight week course of basic obedience for beginners with the option to continue training after the course.

While operating under Covid-19 restrictions members are encouraged to be on time not early or late.

Please allow 15 minutes prior to starting times to book in.
